Mental Health and Wellbeing

We are aware that pupils at our school - like all children - experience a wide range of feelings and emotions.  We work hard to help children deal with these emotions to ensure that they have positive mental health.

In school, we have Bubble Time in all classes.  This is a way in which children can request a 1:1 chat with an adult.  We also have worry boxes - which are monitored by our Anti-bullying Ambassadors.  In addition, we have an Early Help offer in school to support children.  This includes giving children access to Positive Play as well as sessions with our Pastoral Officer.

We work closely with external partners - such as The Changing Lives Team - to offer children and families support.

Below is a child-friendly Mental Health and Emotional Well-being Policy.  The policy includes lots of information, as well as hints and tips!
